Without any much information, just a word “ go on behalf of us, write out a report what you hear from them and report back to us, is all you need to do”.
Without much choice, the next day itself, we were assigned our earliest flight to Changi Airport.
I remembered visiting Singapore like 10 years ago, when I was still young for some tour with family. Do not have much memory about Singapore after all, only things like how clean and systematic are the country all these while.Upon reaching Singapore airport, we took a taxi to Jurong, where we met our customer at 10am sharp. We were given a brief introduction about the company’s profile and background. A new UK company took over our current customer whereby they took charge over everything and changes their management styles. They need to sort of *educate* their supplier about their management changes and as usual, complained a lot of things regards to deliveries and qualities wise. Many other extra paper work and forms to fill in, in order to pass an order to account departments. Therefore, they were like telling us, without *this, this and that that* form filled and signed, ordered delivered will not be paid and so on la. English people do English stylo milo la…. Aih~ Whatever la. My job was to only translate that back to Chinese for my bosses…. :P
Our meeting last for about an hour plus, includes video, sharing of information and bullshitting of how we opt for a better relationship with them and so on…. stand up, shook our hands and off we head back to the city with our calling taxi.Since there were still like a couple of hours before our flight back, we head to Orchard Road for a short city walk and food.
Walked into some foodcourt, had a quick lunch, walkabout blindly, passed by lots of branded shoplots, and finally our last stop, Borders. Then, off we head to the airport to catch our flight back.
