Sabah Trip 10-4-2010 Part 3

10-4-2009

We get ourselves ready at 7.30am and took a 2hours journey to the Mt. Kinabalu where there is a small exhibition room for us to visit. We walked around the hall and saw some fantastic mount photos from top.

Mt Kinabalu hill is so alluring, the view was superb.

We were then being led into a Botanical Garden, which none of us was interested to enter, hence we get back to our van, head towards the Kolam Air Panas for about another 1.5hours journey.

The part where we were heading to our Kolam Air Panas.. which was a... sad thing. We were put into a tub like hot water.. which smells of durian... [duno which f*cker ate durian before us]

We climbed a 550m hill steps to a Canopy Walk – which was tiring… and tiring… But eventually we reached the Canopy Walk station and waited for our turm to walk.

It was exciting and fun to walk above the trees and high up in the sky. Sky walking! It was kinda scary a bit, as you can see some woods are a little..rotten up.

Stopped over for some souveniors and shopping

After all that sweat, we head back to our hotel. Beautiful mountain views and the beautiful sunset accompany us in the two hours drive.

We stopped by at 佳阳Seafood restaurant for our dinner. Don’t ask me anything about the restaurant… I just have one sentence to say “ Don’t go there at all!!!”
The food was neither good or fresh, and so was the services. Bad service! And how dare they charge us Service Charge!! I guess it must be *bad service charge* fees la.

Sabah Trip 9-4-2009 Part 2

9-4-2009

The next morning, we woke up at 6.30am. At that time, the sun was already out. At KK, you can already start seeing bright sun at as early as 6.15am. It was so weird as you kept thinking it was 10.30am but actually only 6.30am. we gathered at the lobby at 7.30am sharp (surprisingly everyone was punctual on the first day).

We had a heavy breakfast off we go to Sutera Harbour.

In the car already start cam whoring

The beautiful sea and sunny day makes us smile. We took tones of photos and you can see a funny scene within us. Whenever someone holding the camera upwards, you will see from 1 face to become many faces. The girls will automatically struggle and appeared in front of the camera and smile! You can’t seem to see single or double portrait photos. The girls will pop their face beside you once the camera is ready. We waited for our speed boat and seated at a cooling place to reapply our sun block.

All the ladies start sun-blocking non-stop

While waiting for our boat to arrive

We then board the speed boat and off we breeze through the winds and water to a beautiful Mamutik Island. The water was clear and you can see tiny fishes near the shore itself. We were lead to our space, where our BBQ lunch was held. The guide brief us on the games and funs available at the beach. They have the parashooting, Scuba-diving and many more other water activities. Me and XW choose to play only the Para shooting which cost us RM90.00 for a less than 5 mins fly.

We stayed at the beach for 6 hours and laugh non-stop all the way. Playes, swim, cam whoring, hiding away from the sun, volleyball and the most childish game on earth – the 老鹰捉母鸡!

Children games... ya.. we were child that day~!

Loads of laughter and we were like went crazy doing all sorts of stunts on the beach. Our buffet lunch was served, and it was great…. They have prawns, crabbie, sotong, fish and my fav was the BBQ lamb. I cannot forget the lamb until today.

We cleaned ourselves and it’s time for us to get back to our speedboat. We rested in the apartment, waiting for our dinner time.

We ate in the Italiannes Restaurant. Back home… mingle around the apartment and had a Maggie supper. Hehe~

Sabah Trip 8-4-2009 Part 1

Aiyo.. blog about Sabah trip also paiseh liow. Almost one year plus only it appear on my blog.

Besides the first two days that I wrote just about when I came back… other days’ were written now only. So.. memories are a little faded away. Bear with it.

8-4-2009
Kelvin and Hong Hong fetched me from BBK and again back to BBK for our breakfast. I was very excited at first but my breakfast spoils my mood. I ordered a Yee Mee soup and the stupid Yee Mee smells weird and the mee smelt like rotten oil. I didn’t even have any mood to finish the mee soup.

We then drove to Lee Yoon’s house at Sentosa, awaiting her to drive us to Bukit Tinggi (her mum’s house) to change to Estima, as there are all 8 of us (plus the driver- Yoon’s hubby) going to LCCT.

We reached the airport around 11.05am and we’re all set to check in. Had a light lunch at Mc. Donalds while waiting for our boarding time.

It’s be a long flight about 2hours 15mins. All these while I did not know Sabah was so faaar away from KL. I thought it was maybe about 1.5hours flight only.

Us gathered in the Airport

We were given parted seats, some at the front and some at the back. Therefore, there is nothing much we can do on board. We doze off and the pilot announced our arrival to KK airport at 3.30pm sharp.

Met up with our tour guide (Ah Yau) holding a paper stating LetchuMi. He was so surprise as he thought he is welcoming an Indian girl. A van took all 11 of us to Marina Court Resort Condominium. It was a comfortable condo with clean interior and simple furniture inside it.

We were given 2 hours to rest and gather at lobby 6.30pm. Our first dinner at KK was 生肉面. Black mee with 肉圆。The chilli sauce was excellent spicy and the meatball is superb. Because in our trip, there are 2 muslims (Celine and XVee) therefore, they only got to eat tauhu and veggie soup. Meat ball so delicious but they no chance to eat. Too bad for them.Delicious Dinner

Next, we came to Tanjung Rhu to have a brisk walk. We were bought to a place to buy jagungs and jambus. The weather was good and we started to cam whore at the beach. After our photo sessions, we were sent back to our condo for rest.

Hong Hong's Wedding Dinner Night 14-12-09

So far, I’ve been for like more than 50 wedding dinners in my life. [I was not really counting, but it was just a figure la ]. I’ve never been to ONE wedding dinner which has so many laughters and fun! Normally, wedding dinners were supposed to be like… formal and people sitting down quietly and just… you know… normal wedding dinner.

But… this Hong Hong’s wedding dinner was SO SO different. I tell you.. From the start itself, our table (12 of us) were already started with crazy stuff. Really happy and it doesn’t feel like we were attending formal dinner, well.. it’s more like a big big gathering in the disco/pub like feel.

Ok… next… normally you won’t be able to see the bride too frequently or comes to your table frequently.. because normally, the bride would need to *entertain* the elderly and the groom’s relatives.

But… Hong Hong was SO different either. You don’t see her anywhere… except around the two of our tables! She was ALways around us. Chatting, shouting, laughing and happily sitting down with us there. She was superb I tell you.

We took… UNCOUNTABLE photographs that night. We were so wild…. Everyone was so wild and high.. including the guys… look at those photos… all these were taken on that night itself. Imagine… we were all like …. Wow… I don’t know how to describe liow. That was my first crazy night with SO many people in SUCH a BIG event.

These were just SOME… some of the photos I posted here. There were tonnes of them. I just couldn’t manage to put all.. or else I’m start bombing my own blog!!

I really love that night. Seriously… but I know… all good good night will come to an end. We won’t be able to come back to that the second time… The only thing I had is my Memories in my head and Photos that captured our laughters that night.

That night was Marvelous.
