THE SHEPHERDOO café

2-11-2009
Yesterday went and check out Hong Hong’s new house. Almost all done. Only the furniture and electrical items haven’t come in. Others were all gau tim already. From lightings to the praying table, from showers to cupboards. All are nicely done. It was consider quick since they only started months ago.

After our visit, we went BBT Jusco to buy some stuff. Kelvin got his ink for printing Invitation card and I got a pair of shoes for Beverley. Yup… it’s her first birthday tomorrow. Walked by Lovely Lace and got her a pair of beautiful shoe and a pair of matching socks.

Then, we dropped Rachael (Hong Hong sister) back to her house, and we continue our second round – at Centro, the newly opened THE SHEPHERDOO café. Just in front of Starbuck Centro.

It is a form of café, but with a slight mini pub kinda feeling. I don’t know how to name it a restaurant, café or what…. but when I first enter this place, I was….. WOW….. Because you can’t imagine you’ll get this kinda atmosphere here in Klang. It’s certainly a good place to hang out.

I just love the entire design of that place, relaxing there while having my cup of chocolate. Well.. to be honest, Coffee Bean’s double chocolate is much chocolaty than theirs, but there might be more improvement as they are just so new now.

The white and purple theme makes the whole place so comfortable. Not forgetting the different sets of tables- the white soft seated sofa, which stands in the indoor, the weaving look of table set at the outer part, and finally the cozy sofas at the outdoor area. Look around that place, you’ll see that all tiny bits of designs are so… just so cool~

Not only that, the café is by few partnership, and one of them seems to be Kelvin’s cousin brother, Eddie. Yup…. Meet him once before.

We talked non-stop with Eddie, about how the SHEPHERDOO came out in their mind, and we were so amazed by the History. (to be exact, not WE talked, is Hong Hong talked!)

The name SHEPHERDOO came in the second thought. Firstly, they thought of naming it as SHEEP. Then, they changed it to SHEPHERDOO with a cute sheep logo design. Funny wise, although they tend to name it Shepherdoo, but the menu doesn’t have lamb at all.
The lovely interior and design of the comfortable place~
The bar area

Going through the menu, you’ll see many varieties, from Pizza to Italian spaghetti, and you’ll see Gilkenny and juices, blended drinks and Nachos, steak and many more.

We tried Nachos as a small snack, and it taste great.

Will be hanging out in this place frequently, as I really love this place.

Don’t trust what I said, go there and feel it yourself!
