Back from BB Plaza-Leisure Mall- Jusco Cheras Selatan

Accompanied WF to BB Plaza for tarot card reading session. She seems to always tell me how good and true this tarot card reader auntie was. She even asked me to join her along. If the price charged was about RM50,I have no doubt. But it was priced at RM123.00 per half hour and each 10mins extra is RM20, I answered NO. God…I didn’t know a tarot card reader can earn so much lor. If like this I no need go study my stupid Diploma liow la.. go learn tarot reading can earn money liow lor!

Er… talk until like this, doesn’t mean I don’t trust tarot card readers la. It’s just that I still do not think my life end up at *what the tarot card says about me*. Well.. WF seems to be satisfied with what the tarot card shows. She asked lot’s of question, about her work, her life, her….. aiya..many other things la. But all those are of future tense. I always think the way they predict the future, it’s like the person giving you a map and you tend to and WILL EAGERLY follow them.

Let’s say the tarot card says you’ll change job within a year. If you TRUST it, you will surely drop your current job and go searching for a new one. Get what I mean? Or… if it says you’ll get promotion within a year, you’ll think the tarot card was so right. But if you are working for an amount of time, more or less at some times – you’ll be promoted la! No need the tarot reader to tell you de la.
I also can predict that my salary will be different in one year’s time!! Almost everyone’s salary will increase yearly basis normally. If it reads that you’ll buy an expensive handbag this year, you will SOMEHOW have the money and go buy that damn bag lo! It’s actually you doing the thing it reads.

After her tarot reading session, as planned, we drove to Leisure Mall Cheras to meet up with another friend Sim Tong (our primary classmate) whom just finished her confinement days and was like keluar dari penjara like that!

We paid the parking ticket and walked to collect our cars. While coming down the steep parking space, I stopped and start finding for my parking ticket. Me and WF search like mad in the car. It was nowhere in our handbags, my coin box, on the ground either. WF suggests that I reverse the car, as I am in the middle of the damn road. One light touch on my oil pedal, a loud bang sounded from behind! I accidentally hit on the divider on my left, which I did not notice while I was reversing. Didn’t have time to go down and have a look, we stayed in the car freezing. Not long, a car came by behind us and honk us to go. There was no way out and I don’t care about the damn parking ticket and continue to our exit.

Until the last level, we were out to the roads. Ya.. I said out to the roads. There was no machine for us to insert the damn parking ticket. Only then we realized that in the earlier earlier part before coming down to the level, we ALREADY INSERTED THE PARKING TICKET. Both of us had no idea when we inserted the car park ticket. See.. how stupid are us!!! I knocked my car to the divider for NOTHING. I repeat, FOR NOTHING I GO AND KNOCK THE STUPID DIVIDER!!!!!!

Forget about it. Continue going to Leisure Mall. It’s just a small shopping area. The reason we chose to meet there was Sim Tong’s new house was around that area. She was newly wed and she stayed at KL house for only about 1 month and she wasn’t familiar with the roads there. We had Sushi King. Sim Tong bought a colleagues of hers along. His name is Yew Ming. He is a quiet person. Unlike me, can bla bla bla non-stop. Sim Tong said she purposely asked this guy out to recommend him to me. She told me that he is a no-more-existing-on-earth good good man. Hahaha…. I asked her the reason she recommended him to me… her answer was “ because you are a noisy girl and he is a quiet person. I thought you two can be a good couple together”. Gosh…. Was that suppose to be a compliment or … condemn?

While eating, duno who said she wanted to sing KTV. WF used her GPS search for the nearest KTV place. It shows Jusco Selatan. We all knooded our head and drove one car to Jusco Selatan. Thinking the GPS can help lead us to the way to Jusco Selatan, we counted on it. Only to know that the stupid thing no more battery and ain’t working at all. (must be due to lack of energy liow). Four person in a car, none know where this Jusco Selatan is, all four wanted to SING so much, end up asking for the way in a petrol station. It was not difficult, we somehow reached that area at about 4pm. Sang until our throat sore and had our pizza dinner there too.

Yew Ming fetched us back to Leisure Mall as our car was still in the parking area. Me and WF walked to the parking area, to find out my car was… in an unknown place! Gosh.. I had never been so careless in neglecting where I parked my car. All these while, I will either write down or note it down in my HP the parking space I put in. But that day, I really forgotten. It must be I was soooo busy talking to WF. We talked non-stop and not noticing where we parked our car. We went searching each level (luckily only got 3 levels). Still do not have. Still no sign of my alarm making noise. We had no choice but to enter back to the shopping mall – hoping to remember how we came into the shopping complex again. Luckily I remembered we somewhere around the escalator and soon we found the right level. Now… searching the car again in the floor which we already been there previously. Still no. I walked a little bit far this time, only to notice my car was on ANOTHER side…. Instead of the side we THOUGHT we parked! No wonder we could not find the car la!!

Both of us sweaty, no more energy to talk liow. Just quietly drove up to Klang.

Saturday Nite At Perlama

Another Day at Perlama Restaurant

Haha… ya… I know I’ve been blogging to much about this restaurant, but there’s where I went last Saturday with my mum, sis and bro. My father went outstation and my mum did not cook that night. So, I brought my mum to my favourite crab place and had a great dinner there.

First time she went there. That day's crabbie not so nice lor. Smaller crab and the KO not so much liow. My mum so dissapointed la. Me too... soft shell crab also dun have. At least still got sweet fresh coconut. Hahaha~

Some random photos, but was taken only when we were all damn full!
Look at those plates… so clean… hahahaha~

Met with Little NJV

Yesterday, met up with JV at KLCC. In the morning, I sent him an sms that I’ll be there in KLCC and if he is available, come out and have a chat. We met 8pm at Burger King. We surveyed the whole KLCC and still do not know what to eat. We wanted to have Japanese food but then the queue was like mad. Madam Kwan’s queue was long2 as well. Then, we saw Vietnamese food restaurant. Nice place though. Sat down and ordered our food. I ordered the (something like seafood vermicelli soup). Seafood means two small tiny prawns divided into two!!

JV ordered a bowl of 5 coloured rice. Hahaha.. I wonder what they mean by five colour. End up three types of veggies plus some cracker like stuff and peanuts on a bowl of white rice. Looks so pale and dry to eat that alone.

After that, we went to check out the cinema for movie, but end up they were either all full or already started showing. Not wanting to watch the midnight show, we end up walking around KLCC shops.

KLCC shops closes kinda early. We wanted to find a place to sit down for a cup of coffee but the lights eventually went out too. JV decided we shift to Pavillion for our coffee instead. Ok, we paid the parking fee and into our car. Out of the car park area, only do we found out that both of us don’t know the way from KLCC to Pavillion. Gosh… from Klang DIRECT TO Pavillion, I know. But then hor.. from KLCC to Pavillion… I don’t know lor!!! We pusing here pusing there… finding for Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Imbi… but all we see is signboards like Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Sultan Ismail… all these they know me, I don’t know them la!!!

Then we merry-go-round the area and finally I saw a familiar place. The Renaissance Hotel. Immediately knowing the exact way how to go Pavillion then. The sidewalk of Pavillion was loaded with people. No place to sit either. We found a bar Carlos and saw a place there. Sat down, ordered our drinks, only to found out the reason why no people was sitted there. Cause the air-con was unable to work! No wonder.

We took some photos there, and continue with our non-stop conversation. We chat about lifestyle, work, studies and love life. Almost midnight and it’s time for Cinderella to rush back home.

Ya.. those photos didn't turn out so well la.. What can we do? We have noone to help us photo up. We had to put the handphone on a glass, hopeing it doesn't drop into my peach drink and shoot these photos like that!!

JV doesn’t know his way back home! Haha.. you must be thinking am I going out with a weird person whom stays at Wangsa Maju yet doesn’t know the way home. Let me explain la. He is from Sabah, and his hostel is in Wangsa Maju. His normal transportation to class and work is LRT (which is a couple of walk out of his apartment). Therefore, he has never entered into a highway. Even when he does, his friends drove him anyway. So, he din really pay attention to KL routes. That makes me finding the way to Wangsa Maju crazy. From Pavillion to Wangsa Maju, we travelled for an hour! I have been to Wangsa Maju but that was directly from Klang Kesas Highway and all the way to Zoo Negara. Not from Pavillion. We turn round and round and when we thought we got the right way, we end up still seeing KLCC so near beside us. Then, don’t know how, seems to be going backwards, back to Klang. So I told him as well.. since like this, might at well go back Klang, then use Kesas Highway back to his apartment. Gosh… that was what I thought the easiest way you know. There were no petrol station at sight and no one to ask about at the late night. Then we came into a road diving one to Klang and one to Sungai Besi… this time really don’t know want to choose what. Stopped by the area…seeking for help. Saw a guard and asked him the way, only to find out he is a foreigner. Worse than me lor! Luckily he told us there are some people at the other end. We approached them and thanks God, they led us to the correct way. Finally, JV was safe and sound back to his apartment!

Now… alone in the car still figuring out how to go back to my own home. Stopped at a traffic light, seeking help from two youngster driving Kelisa beside my car. Wind down my window to ask them the route back to Klang. He gave me the innocent look and say “我不会啦”. Then, I asked him way back to KL instead. He pointed me to a route and told me to go straight all the way down. I followed the route and came to some signboard reading “DUKE”. Wooo… what’s that? I don’t even know “DUKE highway” ever exist! Damn… I so hate myself for not knowing my own country’s route! I saw another signboard “DUKE to Petaling Jaya”. I thought I don’t wanna go any further anymore. Just pray that the “Petaling Jaya” thing can lead me to *at least* somewhere where I am familiar with. I drove a straight and silent road (thinking why this road so deserted). It was a long… long straight highway route. In my heart, I told my car don’t do any problem here, if not, I don’t even know how to tell people where the heck am I.

FINALLY…. FINALLY…FINALLY… I saw “Lebuhraya NKVE”. God knows how relieved I was. Being called a Cinderella, you’ll know what time my mum calls me back. And it was so late at night, she’s been calling me several times already. Told her I was lost on somewhere in KL, she was even worried. Kept calling me and asked me have I got into the right path. Finally her last call was hearing me say “ I am now at NKVE liow.. going to pass by Damansara area liow. Will reached in about 15mins.” Then only did my phone stopped ringing.

I did not know “Lebuhraya NKVE” was such a beautiful signboard until yesterday. The words… the words.. so beautifully printed on the green signboard.

And thanks to my Richie Ren CD, accompany me while I was finding the way. Hearing his songs, at least my 心静了下来.

50th MEF Anniversary – 13th May 2009

Haven’t been going to big dinner like this for quite some time. The last one, if not forgotten will be Melissa’s wedding dinner reception at Renaissance Hotel. This is the Malaysian Employer Federation which my company is an ordinary member there. We purchased four tickets and went there to have the dinner. It was held at Sunway Grand Ballroom and there was a grand opening by Yang Berbahagia Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Right after my make up... and off to the dinner I go~
The Invitation Cardie~
The Grand Ballroom which was nicely decorated.
My two brothers flipping through the nite's itinerary.
The Datos' and Datins' on stage - cutting the cake and some souvenior presentations.

Nothing much to talk about. As usual they have this food presentation, songs, and performances of a funny guy whom can sing in three different languages.

Won a small lucky draw that night. Bogus!

Columbia Pictures' Angels & Demons,

Weifen called over to ask me to have a movie with her and her hubby last Sunday. We watched Angels and the Demon. It’s a nice movie, exciting though, yet lots of Christianity issues inside. At first I was thinking, was Weifen asking me to masuk Christian ka?! Hahaha

It was a movie about the searching of a legend around Vatican City which includes four alters of science, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. An Assassin, working for the Illuminati, has captured four cardinals, and murders each, painfully. The main actor and actress was suppose to search for a new very destructive weapon that could kill millions – which was stolen away by the Illuminati.

Threat of their hourly demise is issued as an elaborate revenge scheme for a persecuted group known as the Illuminati. With their little time limit, hastily counting down, the actor and the actress must travel throughout Rome to unravel the carefully hidden signs that will lead them to a murder place, a harrowing discovery, and the shocking truth.

The killer leaves clues that seem to say that he/she is from the Illuminati. Strangely though, the Illuminati was long thought to be extinct. Who is the mastermind? Who revived the Illuminati? What do they want?
[Written by Ryanking]

Each scene gives you big surprises. From the murdering to the real truth. It makes you squeeze your hand when you finally knows the truth. Good plot indeed, with exciting, heart thumping scenes and of course there’s a scene when the Pastor saves the people and yes, it did wet my eyes. Later only found out it’s a waste of my tear… haha.. you’ll get to know what I mean after watching the movie!

Saturday Nite - Snooker Parlour

I’ve been hanging around Bukit Tinggi Jusco two consecutive days. Saturday night was my nite with WeiFen. At first we decided to go to Greenbox, walked right up to the entrance, funny Weifen said if sing KTV then we both cannot chat grandmother stories liow. So we end up having an early dinner - pork BBQ. As usual la, Weifen only eat tiny winnie and I have to gulp all. We chat endlessly from skies to seas, from human to ghost and from heaven to hell. Hahaha… whenever we two get together, out mouth can talk non-stop. Don’t know why so scary. Suddenly this reminds of a school boy, our classmates name Alistair Labrooy; whom always calls us both crazy woman because when we get together, we seems to be crazy all the while! Hehehe…

It’s good to hear from her that she doesn’t complain her husband for this and that anymore. (ermm… well.. she does that all the time we go out previously). Woops.. I hope she doesn’t read my blog . :P

After that, we called Liwei out for a drink at Station One. Then I thought of a guy whom Irene (my college mate) recommend me one of her colleagues whom did sms me a week earlier to have a drink with him. I heard he stayed in Jenjarom, so I thought maybe he could come down to BBT to join us at Station One. His name is 国江. Stayed in Jenjarom, same age with me, working in a transport company and is my collegemate (Irene)’s colleague. This is the first time in my life to ask someone out without knowing who he is. He only managed to introduce himself in a few sms and I only talked to him on the phone twice (not more than 5mins I guess). So, with the accompany of Weifen and Liwei, only I dare to ask him out.

国江was a little late, but well, he was last minute given the invitation. So… normal la. He end up coming with another friend.. by the name of… damn.. I don’t remember his name for god’s sake. Whatever. He found me wearing green shirt and called me several times in order to get the right person. Sitted down, we then had very FEW conversation as I think his mouth is made of gold or something. He seems to not talk at all. I was the one asking him questions, and he will answer me… then full stop. Aiks.. then I have to think of another question to ask… and he will answer.. and again full stop. Luckily the friend he bought together can chat so much better than him. End up his friend kept on talking to me and Weifen.

We were there bout an hour and we just feel it’s time to get our butt up. They paid the bill and off we say goodbye. Before he left, he reminded me to call him when I reached home. Just reached my car, not yet even start the engine yet, he called me again to ask me drive carefully and REMEMBER to call him when I reached home. Gosh…. Is he sick? Or.. am I??

Then, feeling it’s still early (that night I wanted to play uptill late ma), we went to Asoka to meet Liwei (whom left us halfway in Station One). Then we called another Weifen’s friend Tekkia to come out have a drink. Ya… we started eating and drinking since 6pm!! Tekkia came and he talked about snooker. Then I had this idea to go to the snooker parlour with them and have fun. Well, I know nothing about snooker and I haven’t been to one before. So I thought tonight must be the night. So, off we go to the snooker parlour also around that BBT area. I was so excited as I remembering the 雀球之王playing so professionally. Tekkia told me don’t ever trust movies la.. all cheat children only de la. Then we teased him saying he cannot do those skills.. so he say movie is cheat people de lor! We climbed up the stairs leading to second floor, which was very dark and into a room with about 10 snooker table and all men with lot’s of smoke. Looking around, finally, we saw a same sex there (a girl) and felt so relieved ( hahaha.. cause first time entering these places, a little heart pounding loudly lor).

We walked over to the counter and luckily there was one more table left at the far corner. We were seated there and Weifen was the one to calculate the points. Aiya.. she not calculate la.. she just like a robot la.. people ask her add one point, she add one point. Add three points, she add three points la. Both of us don’t know what was going on also. Hahahaha…. I don’t even know snooker got so many rules de wor. You’ve gotta in a red ball before you can choose to in other ball colour. Aiya… Tekkia told us many rules and it’s like before going into the ear already dropped out liow! Hahaha… then I found them using a *thing* to … what you call it… wipe the stick. It was said doing this can make them hit smoothly wor. Until still cannot figure what was that la!

Never been to a snooker table, you’ll never know it’s so amazing to see people playing them. Unlike playing badminton or football, those players were so sweaty and dirty and smelly. Snooker playing makes a man look hot, with his skillful eyes and how their eyes looking sharply into the ball to make the ball go into the hole. The way they stand, they pose. Well.. of course not to mention the dirty words they spitted out when the ball fails to masuk la. But overall, it takes practice and skills to get the ball into the damn hole. I tried a few balls myself and end up only hitting around airs! It’s not easy like it looked la.

Honestly, all these while I always take Liwei as a small little brother. But at the snooker table, I suddenly feel he is a real man. Hahaha… say like this also feel paiseh. But then hor, the way he hit the ball and the way he posed on the table, damn yau yeng lor.

Ok… my phone kept ringing while I was at the snooker parlour. It was from my mum (as usual) and国江. I smsed him that I already reached home. And his phone kept coming non-stop. Just ignored it and continue my game, and yet non-stop from him again. No mood to answer him that night lor.

Around midnite, we buzz back home. Gosh.. my hair… my clothes and even my bra smells cigarettes!! Eueww~ ~ ~

Lawyer's Words

There’s one beautiful day, I met up with a lawyer. We (my boss and the lawyer) sat down together to have a small lunch. The lawyer later talked about how meditation [静坐] helped him in his life. He started to touch meditation 2~3 years ago. Someone invited him to the medication class. Since then, he is very hardworking and do his routine daily.
He told us the fun and healthy mind he had since he goes to the medication class. He then talked about [希望]. I briefly write out here what he was trying to tell us. Maybe not so complete as I only manage to pen them down after the lunch session. He told us that human suffers because of [希望]. People tend to have many [希望] and it’s the [希望] that makes people cry and suffer a lot.

He uses himself as an example. He said if his son was to die right now, he won’t be too sad or feel very unfair to his life. He will only [thank] his son for the 19 years of being into his life. (Talk until here ar… my 毛also naik la). He said he will pray peacefully and thank his son for giving him such happiness during his 19 years of life. Thank him for coming to this world to bring happiness to him and his wife. Thanks for calling him “daddy” and thanks for letting them know how to teach a kid to become 19 years old teenager. He added that a person leaves you (die), it actually means that person “needs to go back hometown”. Someone comes into your life, someone will eventually go away. That someone whom comes into your life, will somehow GO BACK one day. So he said to better thank him for coming into his life and not crying for that person when he leaves.

He also told us something about [干扰] . According to him, we have many things happening around us. There are good and sometimes are bad. Even when you are very careful on the road, you cannot avoid people knocking your car instead. These kind of things are [干扰]. It’s a kind of disturbance that come over to you to test and see how you [面对]them all. How you deal with the problem, how you see the happening, how you dealt with your feelings, how you react when it happened and how you can learn from this [干扰]. It’s not the end of the world. It’s just an exam for you to test your 反应and help you to LEARN in your life.

For your info, we shut off everything, except one and only ONE TV. We left the TV opened for an hour. Consider very very SUPPORTIVE liow lor!!!

叫你做,你就别啰嗦~

We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favour by giving us the opportunity to do so.

Wah… this sentence meaning super deep lor!
Where got such thing de…. We thank him for giving us the OPPORTUNITY to do work!?
Hahaha… next time your boss ask you do any nonsense or EXTRA job hor.. remember lor…..

[We are not doing him a favour by serving him, He is doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so.]

Mother's Day Cupcakes and Donuts

Crazy people do crazy stuff..
Haha.. that’s what we people do on Mother’s Day.
We created (hold on… not we.. is my brother Jun) made cake tier which was supposed to be three layers and something went wrong and it became only two layers. End up looking like that.We were busy cutting coloured papers to decorate the cake tier.
Making tiny cardie
Acting la~ With his masterpiece.. which don't know can hold the muffins and donuts or not!
I ordered cupcakes from Wondermilk in Damansara one week before Mother’s Day hoping to surprise her with those beautiful muffins. So I asked my brother to use his “architecture brain” to create a cake tier with some hard cardboard. We got this end products after our long (not quite long actually) work out.

The cupcakes were so beautiful and for your information, RM70.00 for that tiny box of muffin is damn expensive. It’s not worth it at all, especially when you put them into your mouth. Eewww…. The KFC bun lagi sedap than this lor! That’s why people always say 好看不好吃啦!!It’s so true for this muffin thing. The icing was soOOOO sweet and everyone seems to scrap away the upper icing part and the muffin also don’t feel fresh at all. So compact and dry.

Anyhow, we took lot’s of photos of our masterpiece. And certainly had lots of fun and laughter when we present our masterpiece!!

Nicely arranged donuts and cupcakes/muffins~
See my mum... laugh until see teeth no see eyes liow ~ Ho Ho Ho~

Me, Mum and our Masterpiece (3M's laaa)
Me and those tiny yet EXPENSIVE cupcakes!
Our makan time... FEAST~
