Hilarious mistake and Brisik Restaurant

Wah.. today super tired la. Almost cannot wake up in time. Today is our third day of workshop. Travelling to and fro like this is really not an easy thing. Besides having to wake up early, have to cope with jams and fight for parking and so on. ….duhh…

But talking about tiredness, me and Esiew already consider very lucky liow. Cause we shared one car down to KL.

Some other students, they had to get up as early as 5am just to catch the right bus to KL. Many of the other students were from JB, Sabah and Sarawak… and all other areas la. I really “pui fuk” their sacrifices towards education.

Talking about yesterday, it’s damn….. hilarious. YM asked me out for dinner and I told him that I am having my class in KL until 6pm. He smsed me that he will come over to Hotel Malaya to meet me. We didn’t communicate well (only sms). Until my class finished, he was waiting at the hotel lobby. Ya… I know everything look normal up to here right….

Then, we walked around Petaling Street to get some drinks, and prepared to go back. Then… see the below conversation:-

Me : Where you parked your car?

YM: I didn’t bring my car also.

JL: Then how you come? You didn’t bring your car?

YM: I come here by bus lar!

JL: Har??? Then???

YM: You drove here right? So I can tumpang your car ma?

JL: Today Esiew fetched me here leh. Yesterday was me fetching her, and today she fetched me here ma!

YM: Huh? I thought I smsed you that I will tumpang your car back?

JL: U got meh? I didn’t read wor… I mean I got read but I didn’t really completely read them clearly. And I dun remember reading about that part wor….

Then, turned to Esiew and asked her to fetched us both back to Klang.

I don’t know if it was my wrong or what, but it seems like we did not communicate well and we thought what we thought.

He thought I drove there, so he took a bus down to KL to have dinner with me there.

I thought he was going to drive there and take me for dinner plus fetched me back.

Hahahaha… I tell you guys la… I was laughing all the way back from KL to Klang. Well, I don’t know about him, but this is a big big “wu long” la!

I guess he must have been damn pissed off with me not reading his sms clearly, and to trouble him to board on the bus to come here. I think this is the funniest mistake human can make!

Well.. he didn’t show he was angry or what but if I am on his shoes, I must be thinking in my head “Damn it…. I’ve come all the way here by bus and now havta travel all the way back to Klang. For what? Wai mat? Diu!!”

Back to Klang (my car), I asked him where he intended to bring me to dinner actually. Jaya One. Well…. I’ve never been there, and this time I’ll be his driver instead. I insisted to go Jaya One as a *compensation* to him.

Jaya One… it’s really a nice place to go. Nice ambient, beautifully designed shops and a good place to have a gathering with friends.

After our survey around that area, we stopped at Brisik Restaurant which serves Indonesian cuisine. We didn’t know it serves Indonesian cuisine until we saw the menus. It looks so Balinese style restaurant with beautifully coloured interior design. You know how much I love red and orange and striking colours. They just have it. We were both attracted by its’ design.

The ambience is really good… with nice music. It’s Chinese Oldies… just so perfectly aired!

The menu is a little bit of odd, with names like Nasi Ungkep, Nasi Ambeng, Brisik, Ikan Dori, Nasi Samudra….. see the names also pening liow. Just ordered my starfruit juice and let him do the thinking himself.

I think we end up ordering a set of dinner.

Nasi Liwet Sunda (Serving for 2 pax) @ RM70.00

Rice cooked in special herbs serve with fried chicken, fried salted fish, keropok bandung, sambal terasi.

( I dun really know what he ordered actually, but I browsed through their website and saw that this is the only menu that serves for 2 person.)

Not cheap eating here, but can get nice atmosphere, cozy surroundings which is decked in a myriad of strong colours, it’s worth it once a while ~

The entrance Beautiful Counter Nice table setting... I just love them See the colours.... so strong~

We had this Satay Serai. Very unique and special. Doesn’t taste like normal satay, I mean they had some veggies inside them.

Super starfruit Juice. I love this!

The drink called 'Wedang Jahe'. It is just like ginger tea and I quite like it. It was relaxing. It came only at the end.

I was seated at this area here, just beside the lamp.

Oh... I just.... dun like the egg smell. Oh... nothing wrong with the egg, it's just I don't favour egg that's all.

Well... next time you drop by and check out that restaurant ya.
